About Dr Kallie Shaw
Kallie completed her medical degree at the University of Wollongong after graduating with honours from University of New South Wales in Exercise Physiology. Initially a surgical trainee, she worked in hospitals including Liverpool, Concord, Westmead Children’s and Prince of Wales in the areas of critical care, surgery (general and plastics) and emergency.
Kallie commenced GP training in 2021. She has developed particular interests in paediatrics and lactation/breastfeeding, while continuing her previous interests in procedural and musculoskeletal medicine. She has completed a Diploma of Surgical Skills and the Sydney Child Health Program.
With 2 small children at home, Kallie enjoys outdoor adventures (usually involving the water or bush), building lego with her kids and partner, and playing netball/basketball.
